Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 20 September 2026

The short version. You own your videos; you let us process them to make your edit. Only upload things you have the right to use, and don't use ZexyAi to hurt people or break the law. AI edits can be imperfect, so check them before you post. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. These Terms are the full agreement; the details follow.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Maveric InfoTech ("we", "us", "our") covering your use of the ZexyAi mobile app, the website at zexyai.com, and the related services (together, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Who can use ZexyAi

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

3. The service

ZexyAi lets you record and trim short-form video on your device and, if you choose, upload it for an AI-assisted edit: we transcribe the speech and add captions, zooms, stock B-roll, emoji and similar effects, then render a finished video. Some features are free and some require a paid subscription (see section 8). We may add, change, limit or remove features, including free ones, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect you.

4. Your content

You keep ownership. Videos, audio, text and other material you upload or create with the Service ("Your Content") remain yours.

What you let us do. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, analyse and transform Your Content, and to share it with the service providers described in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to operate the Service and deliver your edit to you. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems, as described in the Privacy Policy.

What you promise. You confirm that you own Your Content or have every right, licence and permission needed to use it (including for any music, footage, images, logos and people's likenesses in it), that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break any law, and that anyone who appears or speaks in it has agreed where the law requires.

You are responsible for it. You are responsible for Your Content and for what you publish with it, including on Instagram or any other platform. Keep your own copy: we don't offer the Service as a backup or archive, and we delete uploads automatically as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may remove content and suspend or end access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

6. AI-generated output

The Service uses automated speech recognition and AI models. Transcripts, captions, effects and B-roll choices can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate or unexpected, and different runs can give different results. Please review every finished video before you publish it. You are responsible for what you post, and we are not responsible for errors in AI output or for any decision you make based on it.

7. Third-party media and platforms

8. Subscriptions and payments

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the app, website, software, designs, text, graphics, trademarks and logos (other than Your Content and third-party material), belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your device for your own use, under these Terms. We keep all rights not expressly given. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

If you believe something on or produced through the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright complaint" and include: what work you own, where the infringing material is, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. We will review it promptly, may remove the material, and may end access for repeat infringers.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, if we must to comply with law, or to protect the Service or other people. Sections that by their nature should continue (including content responsibility, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) survive termination. Ending your access does not entitle you to a refund except as our Refund Policy or the law provides.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that AI output will meet your expectations. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, if you have paid nothing, to a nominal amount). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights, to the extent the law permits.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you don't accept them, stop using the Service.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in India have jurisdiction over disputes, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in another country, you also keep any mandatory protections of your home country's law.

17. General

These Terms and the documents they refer to are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
